“Hound of Heaven” is a new video conversation series featuring Catholic celebrities and notables in the fields of entertainment, sports, the arts, science, business and public life. Inspired by Francis Thompson’s epic spiritual poem (1893), the purpose of the series is to reveal the ways in which each individual has been pursued by the persistent call of the Holy Spirit—symbolized by Thompson as the Hound of Heaven—and how this altered the trajectory of their personal and professional lives.
Fr. Darrin Merlino, CMF, is the host and Executive Producer of “Hound of Heaven,” which carves out a unique niche in the crowded landscape of Catholic video media: No other program features Catholic celebrities and notables being interviewed by a Catholic priest. Fr. Merlino’s 30 years’ experience in media work and his extensive range of connections assure both fascinating interviews and the ability to secure high-profile guests who will attract audiences of believers and non-believers alike.
